Gyoza making with kids

Categorised in: | Link of this article

Cooking is relaxing. That’s what I always feel while cooking. The other day, I cooked with my son and we made Gyoza (pot stickers) from scratch.
Homemade gyoza pastry has special chewy texture that you cannot taste from premade gyoza pastry. I like homemade better, of course!

In my Gyoza making online class, I will teach how to make Gyoza pastry from scratch! If you are interested in, please check the ingredients/utensils you need to prepare beforehand and book your seat from here!

Baby Food In Japan (5-6 Months) Vol.3 | Protein Recipe

Categorised in: | Link of this article

In this recipe video, I will introduce how to make Japanese baby food (vol.3). This time, I will introduce how to make baby food with using tofu and fish. (Let’s say protein recipes for baby!) As for fish, I use cod fish and shirasu. Shirasu is the generic name for juvenile sardines, sand lances, and herring. These are eaten in a variety of ways in Japan, such as boiled, dried, and raw with soy sauce. I also use somen noodles this time. Somen is thinner noodle than Udon and it’s easy to cook and eat. I hope you enjoy watching this video and try it out!

Oyako-don

Categorised in: | Link of this article

Oyako-don is one of the popular donburi menus same as Gyu-don in Japanese cuisine. Donburi is a dish over the rice.  “Oyako” means a parent in Japanese and “Don” is an abbreviation of donburi. We use chicken and egg for this dish that’s why this dish is called “Oyako-don”.  This is really easy and simple dish. Also, all you need is Chicken, egg and onion (plus, seasonings)! For seasonings, I recommend to use Dashi soup stock rather than using only plain water. Please try it out!!
