In this recipe video, I will introduce how to make Japanese baby food (vol.3). This time, I will introduce how to make baby food with using tofu and fish. (Let’s say protein recipes for baby!) As for fish, I use cod fish and shirasu. Shirasu is the generic name for juvenile sardines, sand lances, and herring. These are eaten in a variety of ways in Japan, such as boiled, dried, and raw with soy sauce. I also use somen noodles this time. Somen is thinner noodle than Udon and it’s easy to cook and eat. I hope you enjoy watching this video and try it out! Read More

Since my previous Japanese baby food recipe video was so popular, I decided to film another video. This time, I introduce porridge recipes with using rice and bread . (I use roll bread in the video but you can use white bread as well! ) I made this video to introduce Japanese baby food but please try making rice porridge when you have less appetite or feel like healthy & light meal!
In this vlog, I will introduce Baby Food in Japan. In Japan, babies start eating baby food around 5 months old. As a mom of 2 children, I’ve been enjoying making baby food (and also kids meal) for almost 5 years now. My daughter is about to become 7 months old so I decided to film what she’s been eating during 5 – 6 months old. I hope you enjoy watching this video and try it out if you have small baby in your family! 🙂 Enjoy the video! YUCa
Oyako-don is one of the popular donburi menus same as Gyu-don in Japanese cuisine. Donburi is a dish over the rice. “Oyako” means a parent in Japanese and “Don” is an abbreviation of donburi. We use chicken and egg for this dish that’s why this dish is called “Oyako-don”. This is really easy and simple dish. Also, all you need is Chicken, egg and onion (plus, seasonings)! For seasonings, I recommend to use Dashi soup stock rather than using only plain water. Please try it out!!
I baked cocoa & choco chip cookies with my son. This cookie is so far my family’s favorite cookie and we baked this several times already. I hope you love our family’s sweets recipe!
