Categorised in: | Link of this article

In this video, I will introduce how to make Gluten-free Gyoza pastry/skin/wrapper. Many years have passed since I put my first Gyoza pastry recipe here on YouTube. So, I decided to remake this recipe! In addition, I introduce green version pastry recipe. I hope you like these recipes and try it out!
Ingredients:

Plain version:
60ml  Water
10g  Potato starch
50g  Rice flour
1/2 Tbsp  Canola oil

Green color version :
60ml  Water
10g  Potato starch
50g  Rice flour
1/2 Tbsp  Canola oil
10g  Spinach paste

Directions (About 20 pastry):

Plain version:
1. Put potato starch in a pot. Then, add water and mix them. Heat the pot until it becomes starchy. *Medium low heat for about 5 minutes
2. Move the mixture into the bowl with rice flour. Then, Add canola oil.
3. Combine all the ingredients until it becomes together.
4. Thinly roll the dough with using rolling pin.
5. Cut out the pastry one by one. Continue until the dough is gone.

Green color version:
1. Put potato starch in a pot. Then, add water and mix them. Heat the pot until it becomes starchy. *Medium low heat for about 5 minutes
2. Move the mixture into the bowl with rice flour. Then, Add canola oil and spinach paste.
3. Combine all the ingredients until it becomes together.
4. Thinly roll the dough with using rolling pin.
5. Cut out the pastry one by one. Continue until the dough is gone.

YUCa’s Tips:

1. Thinly roll and cut the gyoza pastry dough to make pleats
2. Use Gyoza pastry as soon as you make it
3. Freeze the leftover veggie paste not to waste food
