Recipe : Baby Food In Japan (9-10 Months) Vol.3 | Vitamin Recipe

In this recipe video, I will introduce how to make the Japanese baby food for 9 to 10 months old baby. From this month, babies can eat several seasonings like miso, soy sauce, mayonnaise and salt. I will use those seasonings and make vitamin incorporated set meal. I hope this recipe video will help you to make easy and nutritious baby foods.
Ingredients (2 servings) :

Yam Balls:
120g Yam *Frozen
1 tsp Miso
10g Kinako (Soybean flour)
1 tsp Aonori (Green laver)

Tomato Soup with Vitamin Veggies:
30g Carrot
40g Sweet potato
40g Pumpkin
200ml Water
1 tsp Soy sauce
1 Tbsp Tomato powder

Cucumber and Chicken Salad:
30g Cucumber
50g Chicken
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Mayonnaise


Directions :

Yam Balls:
1. Steam or microwave the yam until it gets soft.
2. Mush it with using mortar and pestle.
3. Add miso and mix well.
4. Divide into 4 pieces and make balls.
5. Cover 2 balls with kinako and the other 2 balls with aonori.

Tomato Soup with Vitamin Veggies:
1. Cut carrot, sweet potato and pumpkin into bite-size pieces.
2. Prepare the water in a pot and boil carrot and sweet potato until it gets soft.
3. Add soy sauce, and then pumpkin and tomato powder. Lightly stir.

Cucumber and Chicken Salad:
1. Peel the skin of cucumber.
2. Prepare the water in a pot and boil chicken breast.
3. When it cooked, add salt and cucumber. Take out the scums ocassionally. Boil for a few minutes.
4. Cut the cucumber into small pieces.
5. Make the chicken small with using your fingers.
6. Mix cucumber and chicken in a bowl. Add mayonnaise to season.


YUCa’s Tips :
1. If you have leftover baby foods, freeze them with using ice cube maker.
2. If you have leftover veggies, make a homemade vegetable mix.
3. Check my video and try the homemade mayonnaise to control saltiness.
4. Try the fresh tomato if you don’t get the tomato powder.
5. Try other veggies and fruits to make your own recipe!
