Tamago sandwich

Categorised in: | Link of this article

Tamago sand is very popular sandwich in Japan. You can find this sandwich at supermarket, convenience store and even Japanese bakery. I used rolled bread this time but you can also use sliced white bread as well. To add color and nutrition, please also use a piece of lettuce and a slice of ham etc. Enjoy the video and please try it out!!!

Ingredients (2 servings):

2 Breads
2 Eggs

(A)
3 Tbsp (45ml)  Japanese mayonnaise
1 tsp (5ml)  Rice vinegar
Pinch of salt
White pepper, to your taste

Directions:

1. Put eggs in a water and bring to a boil for 15 minutes.

2. Take out eggs from a pot. When it gets room temperature, peel the eggs.

3. Put eggs in a bowl and add mayonnaise, rice vinegar and salt. Then, mix well until it gets small chunks.
Sprinkle white pepper and lightly mix.

4. Make a shallow cut on the bread. Then, put egg mixture between the bread.
