Sesame Dressing

Have you ever tasted sesame dressing here in Japan?
I realized many of my cooking class guests love this Japanese-style sesame dressing.
In this video, I will introduce how to make Japanese-style sesame dressing.
Yes, you can make from scratch!
I am sure you can use food processor to sesame powder but if you want to try this special mortar and pestle, please check Japanese style mortar and pestle in our store page!

After the recipe video, I will show you one of my favorite place in Tokyo. I hope you like this area as well! Please enjoy the video and try it out. 🙂

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp(45ml) Sesame seeds *Toasted
3 Tbsp(45ml) Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp (15ml) Sugar
2 tsp(10ml) Brown rice vinegar *Rice/Apple vinegar is also OK!
1 tsp (5ml) Sesame oil
1 tsp (5ml) Soy sauce

Directions:

1. Ground the sesame with using Japanese-style mortar and pestle.

2. Add rest of the ingredients.

3. Mix the ingredients all together.
