TV appearance : DayDay on NTV (Japan)
Thanks to being featured in Airbnb’s newsletter, I was honored to have my cooking class featured on TV for the fourth time! This time, it was again on Nippon TV, during a weekday lifestyle program called DayDay.
The program featured our popular Ramen & Gyoza class for about two minutes. What left a strong impression on me was the guest’s deep respect for Japanese food culture. They said, “I felt that everything in Japan—its food and culture—is beautifully balanced and harmoniously connected.” Their words made me reflect once again on the unique harmony that defines Japan.
Our company is also called NAGOMI (和), which means “harmony” and represents Japanese culture and lifestyle, so their words resonated with me even more deeply.
BIG thank you to Joaquim & Rita (from Portugal) who kindly agreed to be interviewed, as well as to the filming crews and the program staffs!

TV appearance : Shu-Ichi on NTV (Japan)
Following the previous feature, my cooking class was once again covered on TV. Since there were many participants and a large filming crew this time, I was a bit worried the room temperature might rise too quickly. But thankfully, we were able to carry out the lesson as usual without any issues.
A big thank you to all the participants who kindly agreed to be interviewed, as well as to the filming crew and the program staff!

TV appearance : Live News It! on Fuji TV (Japan)
Airbnb released its report titled “2025 Summer Travel Trends Revealed,”and I’m honored to share that my cooking class was selected as one of the world’s top 10 “hidden culinary gems” for this summer—together with Arakawa City in Tokyo!

Here’s an excerpt from the report (https://news.airbnb.com/summer-travel-trends) :
“Arakawa City, Japan, is a quieter alternative to bustling Shibuya. Situated in eastern Tokyo, it’s a haven for food lovers, featuring ramen and gyoza classes, and Joyful Minowa, a lively shopping arcade with traditional, family-run kissaten coffee shops.”
Following this report, Forbes Japan recently featured an article quoting the Airbnb report, and as a result, Fuji TV’s news program “Live News It!” came to cover my cooking class yesterday.
The segment will be viewable for about 10 days starting today via this link:

My cooking class originally started by offering traditional Japanese breakfasts to Airbnb guests. However, since the space was originally a residential property, it eventually became difficult to continue operating as a business.
