Japanese Cooking Classes for International Visitors
When we founded the company in June 2013, inbound tourism to Japan was far smaller than it is today — yet we recognized early on that global health consciousness was rising and that Japanese cuisine had enormous potential. In December 2013, washoku was officially registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and in December 2024, traditional sake brewing joined that list as well. As inbound visitor numbers have grown year by year — with government tourism strategy now central to Japan's growth — we have continued as a pioneer in Japanese cooking classes for international guests, earning numerous awards from Tripadvisor, the world's largest review platform. Today we are channeling this business to further promote Japanese culture globally, with a focus on nurturing the next generation of chefs and entrepreneurs and developing new ventures.

Premium Japanese Tea
Driven by the global popularity of Japanese cuisine and the rise of health-conscious living, Japanese tea exports have grown more than 2.5-fold over the past decade. Masashi Togami, Director of Nagomi Inc., brings over 10 years of hands-on experience in premium sake product development and international market expansion. Foreseeing strong overseas demand for Japanese tea, he launched our premium Japanese tea business in October 2023. We are currently developing new products, expanding our portfolio, and building out retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels to serve both domestic and international customers.
International guests who visit our cooking classes also show strong interest in Japanese products beyond tea. We offer original food products and lifestyle goods — including apparel and homeware — that delight our customers and connect them with a new way of living.

Japanese Tea Salon
We are planning a specialty salon centered on YUCa's Tea, where guests can experience a wide variety of Japanese teas paired with washoku dishes and traditional sweets. Opening date to be announced.
