Japanese Kitchen Tools : Self-standing cutting board

Categorised in: | Link of this article

Cutting boards are something we use every day in the kitchen.
With just a small change, they can become much more convenient and hygienic.

Among them, self-standing cutting boards are especially practical.

After washing, you can simply stand them upright to dry, allowing water to drain easily and helping them dry more quickly.
They are especially useful during humid seasons or in kitchens with limited space.

Another advantage is that you don’t need a separate stand, which keeps your kitchen looking neat and uncluttered.
It may seem like a small detail, but it often makes a big difference in everyday use.

In my cooking classes, maintaining good hygiene is very important.
Letting cutting boards dry properly helps prevent odors and the growth of bacteria.

For families who cook with children,
the simple habit of “wash and stand to dry” is easy to adopt and encourages good routines.

Because it’s something we use every day,
it’s worth choosing tools that are both practical and pleasant to use.

In our home, we use self-standing cutting boards from TASKI.
They come in both large and small sizes, and we use them depending on the task.
It’s one of my favorite kitchen items.

If you’re interested, you’re welcome to try it out at our cooking class, where we offer live demonstrations and the option to purchase as well.
